Carbon full-suspension mountain bikes for demanding terrain
A full-suspension mountain bike combines a front suspension fork with a rear shock. Compared with a hardtail, it tracks rough ground more effectively and adds traction, control and comfort across rocks, roots and broken mountain trails.
In the BICI range, this category is represented by BICI CRISTALLO, a carbon full-suspension MTB designed for longer mountain rides, trail riding and more demanding off-road terrain.
More traction and control on the trail
Rear suspension helps keep the back wheel tracking the ground and absorbs impacts that a hardtail would transmit more directly through the frame and rider. The result is a calmer, more controlled ride, especially at higher speeds and through technical sections.
The carbon frame helps keep CRISTALLO weight in check despite the more complex full-suspension chassis. Depending on the build, it is available with several drivetrain options, including mechanical and wireless electronic shifting.
CRISTALLO is also available with different wheel sizes, allowing you to choose a setup based on rider height, riding style and preferred handling.
When should you choose a full-suspension MTB?
A full-suspension mountain bike makes sense for riders who regularly tackle rough terrain, trails, technical forest tracks or longer mountain routes. If low weight and pedalling efficiency on less technical XC courses are the priority, a hardtail may be the better fit. If you want more traction, comfort and control on demanding terrain, a BICI carbon full-suspension mountain bike gives you extra capability.
