BICI is not based around one standard bike offered in a handful of stock sizes. You choose the model, frame size, colour and component specification. We source the components for your selected configuration, then assemble and set up the complete bike by hand in Olomouc.

What does a custom-built BICI actually mean?
Made-to-order does not mean designing an entirely new carbon frame from scratch for every customer. Each BICI model has its own frame, geometry and core technical specification. What you can choose is the configuration that turns that platform into the bike that best suits your riding style, body dimensions, preferences and budget.
The model defines the foundation of the bike. The configuration determines how your individual BICI looks and how it is equipped.
What can you usually choose?
Depending on the model, you can select the frame size, colour and drivetrain configuration. On some bikes, a carbon cockpit or carbon wheelset is included in the standard specification, while on others these are available as optional upgrades.
The exact options available are always listed on the individual model page.
How does the ordering process work?
Choose your bike category
The first question is simple: where and how do you want to ride? The BICI range includes gravel bikes, road bikes and mountain bikes. Each category is designed around a different type of riding, with its own geometry, intended use and component setup.
Choose your model
Within each category, choose the model that best matches the type of riding you have in mind. The frame is specific to each model and defines the bike's overall platform and character.
Some models come with a carbon cockpit and carbon wheelset as standard, while others use aluminium components in the base specification with carbon upgrades available as an option.
Choose your frame size
Each model is available in a defined range of sizes. Choosing the correct frame size is essential for comfort, handling and performance, so each bike includes an indicative size recommendation based on rider height.
If you are between two sizes or unsure about your riding position, get in touch and we will help you choose the most suitable option.
Choose your colour
Colour options vary from model to model. The configurator always shows the standard finishes currently available for the selected frame.
Choose your drivetrain and components
Depending on the model, you can choose between mechanical and electronic shifting systems and between different component brands. Available options may include WheelTop EDS GeX, EDS TX and EDS OX, mechanical RS / SENSAH drivetrains, as well as established Shimano and SRAM groupsets.
This means you do not have to pay for a specification you do not want simply because it is the only factory build offered for that model.
We source the components
Our frames and components are produced for us by specialist manufacturing partners in China and other parts of Asia. Once your configuration is confirmed, we arrange the required parts and their transport to the Czech Republic.
Your bike is hand-built in Olomouc
Your complete bike does not simply arrive in a box from an overseas production line. The individual components are brought together here in the Czech Republic. Each BICI is assembled, completed and set up by hand in Olomouc according to your selected specification.
Gravel, road or MTB?
Gravel
Versatile bikes for tarmac, gravel roads, long-distance rides and fast riding away from busy main roads.
Road
Carbon road bikes focused on speed, low weight, stiffness and efficient power transfer.
What if I want something that is not in the configurator?
The online configurator includes the standard options for each bike, but your choices do not necessarily have to end there. If you have a specific colour, component or other modification in mind, get in touch.
We will check what is currently available for the selected model. Some frames are available in additional colours or component configurations, while others are limited to the options shown online.
We do not want to promise unlimited customisation when a particular frame or model does not technically or practically allow it. We will tell you exactly what can be changed on your chosen bike and which options are currently available.
Why does delivery take 6–8 weeks?
Most BICI bikes are not pre-built and stored in one standard configuration. We source the required components according to each customer's selected build, arrange their transport to the Czech Republic and then assemble the complete bike in Olomouc.
Our standard lead time from order to completed bike is therefore approximately 6–8 weeks.
The result is not a bike that has been sitting in a warehouse for months, but a specific build configured for you.
Need a bike sooner? Do we have any in stock?
We usually keep a limited number of complete bikes or selected configurations in stock in Olomouc. Availability is limited, however, and frame sizes, colours and specifications change continuously.
If you need a new bike without the standard lead time, get in touch. We will let you know whether we currently have a completed bike that suits your size and preferred specification.
